Congratulations Nate! That’s awesome news and I couldn’t agree with you more about the importance of families. At the end of the day, family is the MOST important thing in life. Best of luck in your new endeavor.

      Thanks, Chris!

    Congratulations Nate!

You’ve been a big part of the Brainzooming family with the work we’ve done together the past couple of years. I’ve learned so much working closely with you on social media strategy. As much as I’ll miss the current working relationship we’ve built, it’s such as great next move, and I look forward to how our business relationship and friendship develop right along with your career growth! All the best!

It was a really good run, Mike. it works both ways — I learned a ton about how corporations work and how I can work in them from listening to you. Without your guidance over the past few years, I don’t think I could have been prepared to make this move. Thank you!

Congratulations Nate! I think you’ll be so happy you made this decision. Several years from now when you look back at how you’ve spent your time, you’ll have so many wonderful memories of being with your family.

In the end, that’s all that really matters. :)

Thanks, Jenny!  I appreciate it, and I think you are spot on…

  • Rachel Lewis

Congrats, Nate!  I’m sure you’ll be a great asset to their team.  And if you ever need someone to offer taste-testing/quality control, I’m your girl :)

    • http://nateriggs.com nateriggs

Nice. :)  I’m looking forward to doing more if that too. :)

Congrats! While we don’t have Bob Evans her in NOLA, agree, it’s a midwest icon. Always reminds me of my grandfather… he loved that place.

Look forward to seeing what y’all do with the brand online.

I was one of the kids who grew up eating Sunday brunch with the grandparents too.  It’s cool that I get to have a hand in making sure another generation of kids get’s to have that memory… :-)

Bob Evans is so fortunate that you’re joining them. I’m glad you plan to keep blogging and keeping your followers in the know. I’ve learned so much from you Nate. Thanks for everything you do. I wish you all good things in this new endeavor.

Wow! You’re going to go work for the man again. :) I’ll be curious to watch your journey and see how you adjust. Congratulations!!

    • http://nateriggs.com nateriggs

Thanks. This ‘man’ seems cool and is aligned with where I’m heading with my family. And, it’s a chance foe me to use everything I’ve got. Most people here know me as the “social media marketing” guy. Not many know that most of my experience is in brand strategy, digital, and organizational communication.  I’m looking forward to dusting off those skills :)

Congrats, bud. Bob Evans CEO blog was one of the first social media case studies I ever read that got me excited about this space. Very happy for you and very smart move by the folks at Bob Evans.

My advice on corporate America — Beware of the silos. Do everything you can to cross department party lines and bring people together to find solutions. Because as I know you know…solutions are what customers really care about. Not that Marketing owns the Twitter channel and PR owns Facebook. Cheers!

    • http://nateriggs.com nateriggs

Thanks for that, Justin.  Really good advice and it’s noted. :)  Cheers!

Good Luck Nate! I worked there as a kid and enjoyed the experience! The biscuit and cinnamon rolls also got 15 more pounds of me. Can’t wait to see what you’ll be working on, and watch out for the baked goods!
